We live in a world where everyone is quick to blame. Blaming others seem like it a way to get us off the hook. Think about when you watch your favorite sports team lose, what do you do you start blaming someone from quarterback to the coach.
But in reality, you cannot blame your bad behavior on others, you are responsible for your actions. Let look at some people in the Bible that used the blamed game and never taking personal responsibility for their action.
1 Corinthians 10:13, ‘No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.’
In this verse we learn that:
1. Our God is a faithful God.
2. Our God won’t allow a temptation to come our way that is stronger than we are able to endure.
3. Our God will always provide a way of escape, in other words, He will help us through those times of temptations.
We should never be tempted to blame others we should own up to our responsibility. You cannot blame your bad attitude, resentment and unforgiveness on others. Taking responsibility for our behavior and ceasing to blame others are the steps we must take to receive the blameless standing God want to give us.
