We have been given a gift from God. The gift of salvation and we are to share it. We are also called to be prepared to share it with people who will become angry with us and who will argue with us. That means we should “Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect” (1 Peter 15b). That is a calling that can lead to much controversy, but we need to be willing to share our faith and only stand on Jesus, NOTHING ELSE!
