There are so many leaders in the world. Leader of countries, cities, organizations, clubs, and so forth. Why are they leaders? Do they deserve to be called leaders? Sadly, some push their way into the position while others work hard to exemplify leadership within whatever group has given them the honor of leading. Jesus is the greatest leader in history. Most of the leaders mentioned earlier don’t follow His leadership model. He lived a model of servant-leadership, which is so counter-cultural in a world where taking leadership by any means necessary is what many strive for. In a world of fighting to get to the top, we need to pause and serve and lead by example.
