Belonging begins with listening.
Our Faces, Our Voices is BLAC’s new storytelling and research series exploring how identity, access, and community shape learning and leadership. Through more than forty recorded conversations, participants share what it means to be seen, supported, and sustained within institutions still learning how to listen.
Part One, Where Belonging Begins, centers the voices of Black,Indigenous, and People of Color who reveal how belonging is built through care, mentorship, and courage — often in spaces where it had to be created from the ground up.
Belonging is not a program. It is a pattern of design choices that make care visible.
