Beatrice Gardner is one of the co-ordinators of The Ababa Project, whose connections with the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady are long established and fruitful. The example of these lay missionaries from St Teresa’s in Dumfries and its environs is inspiring and, as a result, in 2022, Missio Scotland is using these established channels to support a project in Ethiopia that will positively affect children’s lives.
