Join Mike and Judy as they chat with Brady Werger about his journey of advocacy.
Brady Werger is a self-advocate from Glenwood, Iowa. He uses his first-hand experience living with disabilities to educate others and improve the quality of life for his peers. As a Community Living Ambassador, he encourages individuals with disabilities living in large group facilities to move into communities of their choice by sharing his personal journey. In October 2021, he received the Iowa Developmental Disabilities Council’s first annual Mia Peterson Advocacy Award. He currently serves as vice-chair of the Iowa Development Disabilities Council and looks forward to assuming chairmanship in July 2022.
