On Monday, January 2nd the sports world was shaken to its core. What was to be a battle for a possible top seed in the AFC turned into a battle for life. Seconds after Damar Hamlin of The Bills sustained a "typical hit" he fell to the ground critically injured. Heroic individuals stepped decisively in to save the young man's life. And the thoughts and prayers of a nation were answered.
With a new appreciation for what is really important, your hosts Chris and Joe do their best to preview the upcoming NFL Wildcard Weekend. Yes, there are games to contest, some will be exciting, and some will be duds. But maybe, just maybe we will look at this game we love in a new light. A light that shines on the humans who step on the gridiron each week, and not necessarily the blocking, the nickels, the schemes...and the hits.
