God blessed kings when they cried out for His help and trusted in Him. However, when they became so confident in their own ability that they led without the Lord’s counsel, destruction came upon them.
We may not be kings today, but we can learn from their examples. A major factor that determines our success or failure is whether we display pride or humility. Instead of depending on our own strength, we should humbly look to the Lord for help.
