While I refer to this as an "aesthetics" episode on the show, that's not quite it. It's also not really about simps, I just have a horrible sense of humor. While I touch on aesthetic-related topics like the "depression aesthetic" (think tumblr) going too far, the fact that Timothee Chalamet strikes me more as an anemic teenager than a global sexpot and my thirstposting of Tom Hardy is not merely simping but cultural resistance (dad joke context here), this is actually not too deep an episode in my opinion. This is a fairly short, lighthearted rant that happens to include some calling out of the aesthetic-identity Munchausen's my generation has embraced with open arms. Oh, and I have a beret now.
