Frederick Cawthon is honored to serve the Hemp Alliance of Tennessee (HAT) as President since 2019. HAT is a 501(c)(6) non-profit trade association centered around empowering and growing a thriving hemp industry in the state of Tennessee. The alliance works with its members to support hemp education and advocate for policies and standards of practice to enable a quality hemp industry.
He is a U.S. Hemp Roundtable (USHR) Board Member and Vice President of Minority Empowerment which is focused on creating an equitable and impactful hemp industry which includes minorities and undervalued communities.
Frederick is also co-founder and CEO of Verge Agritech providing consulting services, advancing research & education, creating everyday life products, and developing lifestyle brands that transform customer experiences within the cannabis industry.
He holds a BBA and MBA from Tennessee State University. Prior to his work in hemp, Frederick spent 20+ years in product and program management roles for various Fortune 500 companies.
A powerful brother is Mr. Frederick, and he truly has given us a venting session on how hemp has made him the man he is today .
