Good Morning Nashville ☀️
As always we thank you guys for tuning in to the Black Men Vent Too Podcast each and every Monday morning as we aim to bring content that hopefully moves you to be a better black man/woman in society . We’ve put an interesting twist into this month . As you know each month we try to present an issue and discuss it throughout the entire month , however , we decided to switch up the tempo for this episode .
In our episode today, we recap our month of March by thanking our previous business owners for coming on our show to vent . Tying that to today , we decided to bring our black business season and compare it to one of the worst events of injustice in black history that occurred in Tulsa, Oklahoma in the early 1900s known as “The Tulsa Massacre”. As we discuss this event , we also highlight a most recent incident that occurred with Black Panther movie director Ryan Coogler who was arrested in Atlanta for wanting to withdraw a large amount of money from his own bank account .
This episode Nashville is nothing short of others . We’re excited to have discussed Nashville’s version of Black Wall Street by bringing different business owners on the show . They vented about adversities and things they’ve faced , and what better way to show true black business adversity than to discuss the Tulsa Massacre of 1921.
