Good Morning Nashville! ☀️
Super excited to be a part of you guys new week! Wednesday morning with the Black Men Vent Too Podcast and we definitely got an interesting twist in todays episode . As always guys make sure you like, share, and give us feedback on our content 🙏🏽
With that being said, let’s get into today’s episode ‼️
Our episode is bridging the gap from Nashville, Tennessee all the way to the beautiful state of Oregon 🔥 . Yes guys, today’s guest resides in Salem, Oregon and by way of virtuality we have none other than Mr. Emerson Carella joining the BMVT Podcast ✌🏽
Emerson, raised in an Italian family, is a young high school senior that for the last 3 years, he’s been advocating youth mental health with a focus towards the teenage division .
“I wanted to find a way to bring down the suicide rate by 1%, that was my goal when I was 15 years old.”
With that, Emerson is a part of “America For Suicide Prevention”; he is one of the lead policy advisors at this organization . Mr. Carella is actually traveling all the way to Congress next year to continue to advocate behind his dreams and goals of changing mental health within his community.
“Within our community specifically, we have at least 3 death-by-suicides a year in the schooling district … and that is a good year to us”
Emerson joins our show and has one amazing story guys, please take some time to support this young man who truly is doing the work that it takes to bring change 🙏🏽
