A true history buff, former NFL player, East Nashville native, and has a LOT he has done and is doing to change the narrative behind black men in our city. Introducing to some and presenting to others, Mr. Robert Savage. ⭐️ Rob opens up our episode by giving “Nashvillians” a solid history lesson on where the city was, versus where the city has grown today. He vented on today’s episode about how black men are just not appreciated as much as they should be. We go through life not realizing the sacrifices that men make, both mentally and physically, to “make it happen” for their families and themselves. Rob talked about how as a man, it can put you in a state of depression when you feel your hard work and sacrifices go without notice, but credits those experiences he’s had with that to cultivate him into the man he is today.
