Today’s guest has been all over Nashville in various forms, changing the city with every step, and making sure to bring culture in every room he’s been in. We are proud to introduce to you guys Mr. Ron Johnson ✌🏽. Listeners discretion is advised, because Mr. Johnson has a powerful story with certain parts that could be sensitive to those that may hear it. Ron Johnson, a Memphis native, has one hell of a life story that involves drug dealing, gang banging, and tragedy, but also is a story that involves triumphs, victories, and perseverance through the toughest times. He vents about his time at Tennessee State University, playing football and once leading the nation in interceptions, and how that time shaped him as a man. Mr. Johnson also vents about his mother and her impact, something you have to listen in on to really understand. A man of many hats, and has endured a lot of pain, but now he works within the mayors office and also is the founder of “The Village”: a group aiming to connect with Nashville organizations to gain access to resources, wisdom, and power.
