Speaking of voting … we took the time to bring to our show another one of the mayoral candidates in Nashville. She surely needs no introduction, but we are more than excited to have the one and only Vivian Wilhoite on the pod! Mrs. Vivian comes to the podcast to vent a little bit about how a campaign process can challenge your mental health in so many ways. But she truly vents behind how she knows without doubt she is equipped for the mayoral position. Nashville Davidson County voters have twice chosen Vivian to serve as the city’s Assessor of Property, a position in which she currently serves, making her the city’s first African American Assessor of Property and Tennessee’s third African American Assessor of Property in the state’s history. Vivian also served two terms on the Nashville Metro Council from 2003-2011, representing Southeast District 29.
Leon Davis, Jr. is good friends with Larry (Vivian’s Husband), and Johnathon is good friends with Pherius (Vivian’s oldest son), so it’s just a good ole fashion conversation amongst family on todays show. Tune in! And GO VOTE TOMORROW NASHVILLE!
