Description

Ananya Chadha is an undergraduate student at Stanford University studying neurotech engineering. She has had a variety of professional experiences at Neuralink, IBM, and Sick Kids hospital. After working in a gene-editing lab with CRISPR-cas9, Ananya developed a genomic data blockchain platform. She has also developed various neurotech devices like brain-controlled prosthetics, remote control cars, and MP3 players controlled with EEGs, electrodes, and brain signals.

In this episode, we cover what neurotech projects and ventures she is working on, how Ananya thinks about applying for VC money and grants, and her experience so far at Stanford.

Here are Ananya's 3 action items:

  1. Do the thing that you’ve been putting off and that you’ve been planning to do but haven’t started! Take that first little step.
  2. Do a visualization exercise where you think about what you want most out of your life. Then think about what steps need to be taken to get there.
  3. Be nice to people around you!
