“Young ladies don't climb trees.” From a young age, women are conditioned to view certain behaviors as appropriate for us to engage in or naughty and unacceptable. This impacts many areas of our lives - our relationship with food, sex, and…. you guessed it…. nature.
But where along the way did we learn to disconnect from nature? What happened to us between the age of 5, when we were running around outside barefoot for hours without a care in the world, and where we’re at today?
Enter Amy Gibson. Amy is a certified life coach, public speaker, and author who specializes in helping women reach new heights through getting connected with nature. I like to think of her as an expert tree climber - both metaphorically and physically. She’s here with us today to talk all about how our relationship with ourselves becomes a reflection of our relationship with nature.
