Poet James Morehead and composer Deon Nielsen Price discuss how they collaborated to create "gallery", a piece for baritone and piano based on Morehead's poem of the same name. The piece will be premiered in The Presidio Chapel, as part of a free series of concerts, in San Francisco on November 14, 2021. Dr. Price also talks about how she discovered a passion for performing and composition, and her approach to creating music.
