Our God is the God of breakthrough.
Three Questions:
1. Who do we expect the Breakthrough will come from? - Breakthrough only comes from God. He is the Alpha, the Beginning.
2. What do we believe the breakthrough is for? - God is a God of objectivity and purpose. We need to obey God even though we know yet, so we could see God and so we could let others see God through us.
3. How can we actually have a breakthrough?
5 Keys to Receiving Breakthrough:
1. Pray selfless prayer – pray for others.
2. Speak, decree, and prophesy God’s Word over your situation.
- Want to live long? Choose life. Never speak a lie or allow wicked words to flow out of our mouths.
- Decree on a word and it is going to be established. Say what God says.
- Psalm 34:12-13
3. Remain in the word. Remain in God and with God.
- - There is a time element for our breakthrough.
- - 1 Kings 18:41-46
- - Quitting makes the miseries harder.
- - John 15:7
- - Abiding in God and in His Word –our desires begin to change.
- - We should not just pray for anything we want, rather it should be our goal to pray for everything God wants for us. We need God to give us new and better desires that are pleasing to Him.
- - Align yourself in God’s will.
- - And if we know that He hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of Him. Mark 11:24.
- - Hebrew 11:8-17 –by Faith.
- - Where we are right now is the starting point and God will catapult us to the next breakthrough.
