Hello hello! Welcome back to the Abandonment Issues, where this week things are quite a bit more lighthearted than the last! It may not seem like it after the email Em reads in the intro, but let's just say that, well, it’s not likely that it’s a true story. Unless it is, in which case, sorry to Evelyn for putting you on blast, and we’d love a cut of that 9.5 mil. Also, since this was the second episode we recorded in one day, we totally forgot to ask each other our issues again, so let’s all just say it’s safe to assume that both our issues this week are. Uh. Public restroom-related debacles. You’ll see what we mean by the end.
Be sure to check out our instagram for a picture of Em’s incredible mug, and maybe make yourself a hot beverage before you settle in for this week’s issue!
This week (beginning at 9:15), Em tells us the story of the famous Goat Man (no, not that one) Charles “Ches” McCartney, who was, quite frankly, an inspiration. We’ll leave it at that, but if you love goats and road trips, we promise you’ll love this dude. After that (beginning 31:46), Zack takes on the big man himself, Bigfoot! There’s such a sheer volume of lore on the guy that we couldn’t possibly have encapsulated it all in just one episode, but tune in for some local sightings and a lot of boy scout talk.
We are planning to do an all-spooky episode for the month of October in honor of Halloween, so please please please send in some stories or suggested topics and we will try to read some of them out on the show! Please send those in to our email tellusyourissue@gmail.com or DM us on any of the social medias in our link tree!
