Whitney Durmick -- startup whisperer by day, genre-bending existentialist writer by night -- talks to me about her formerly itinerant existence, and how she has confounded the expectations of the traditional publishing industry by striking out on her own. Her first book, HALF WILD: A prayer for a generation of roaming malcontents, came out in June 2022.
