Wichita Kansas hasn’t been exempt from rising numbers of gun violence. Interim Wichita Police Chief Lem Moore blames the cause on an increased issues of guns being stolen. Friday, June 3, marks National Gun Violence Awareness Day. Wichita Moms Demand Action is hosting a blood drive as part of the Wear Orange awareness campaign at American Red Cross from 12pm to 6pm at Grant Chapel AME Church, 2750 N Hillside ST, Wichita, KS 67219.
