Interested to hear how students at Leiden University have been working on facilitating safe spaces for students of color? In this episode Josefien van Marlen (ECHO) speaks with project leaders Aline-Priscillia Messi and Ali Şahin of the S4S student initiative named Star* which stands for Safe(r) Space to Talk About Race. Through sharing of experiences and opening spaces a sense of connectedness is created. Most importantly is the community care. By weaving all experiences in a safe space a more inclusive environment can be created.
