"Look, Anita! Puppies everywhere!"
For the 101st episode of the Seat Struck Movie Podcast, we kept things topical and discussed 101 DALMATIANS—specifically, the original 1961 Disney classic. We chatted a bit about the context of the film, and how its new animation techniques heralded a new era in Disney. We also quickly went over the plot and some of our favourite moments. Things got a bit sidetracked at the end as we got into a someone lengthy discussion on content censorship. Before all that though, John, Curtis, and Quinn discussed some recent news of the week, which included some quick shout outs of films we are excited to see following the latest festival circuit. Following this, we quickly chatted about some recent films we saw.
Next week we will return with the first of a two part BACK TO SCHOOL series, discussing the 1978 musical GREASE.
