To celebrate the new school year, we're kicking off the first of our two part BACK TO SCHOOL miniseries by discussing the iconic 70s comedy musical: GREASE. This was one of John's favourites, so he went into detail about why this was such a beloved movie for him growing up. We talked about 1950s nostalgia reguitated for the 70s; the film's satirical and dreamy tone; and some of our favourite scenes. Before all that though, we discussed what movies we've watched recently.
Next week we will return with the second part of the BACK TO SCHOOL series, discussing the 1982 horror comedy CLASS OF 1984.
