Description

"It seemed like a good idea at the time."

John and Curtis take a bite out of Ridley Scott's 21st-century offerings with the excellent but underrated HANNIBAL (2001), the sequel to THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS (not about the Carthaginian general and the elephants lol). They talk about Scott's dark and disturbing imagery, Mason Verger, the terrifying man-eating pigs, comparisons with Thomas Harris' novel, THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS, and the HANNIBAL TV series, giallo influences, and how Clarice evolves and changes as a character. Before they discuss the film, the boys chat about the News of the Week, including the latest movie releases and news plus what they watched.

Tune in next week for another Ridley Scott watch series installment with BLACK HAWK DOWN!
