Description

"Good evening, Fräulein!"

The Return of the Great Adventure! Join John, Curtis, and special guest Dr Arya Aryan as they take on the Spielberg/Lucas 1981 adventure classic RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK (1981), starring Harrison Ford, Karen Allen, John Rhys-Davies, Alfred Molina (!), and more. The boys discuss its importance as an action/adventure film, its depictions of the Middle East and Germans, American exceptionalism, badass Marion Ravenwood, Klaus Kinski, and more. Before the film discussion, they also talk about what they watched this week and what they added to their watchlists.

The lads will return to John Carpenter watch series next week with the Snake Plissken ("Call me Snake!") sequel ESCAPE FROM L.A., starring the great Kurt Russell and Steve Buscemi.
