Breakfast is the first meal of the day, typically eaten in the morning. It is often considered the most important meal of the day as it provides the body with energy and nutrients to start the day. Common breakfast foods include cereal, oatmeal, eggs, toast, fruit, yogurt, and breakfast meats such as bacon or sausage. Many cultures have their own traditional breakfast foods.  Now let's consider the actual word.  Breakfast or break - fast which literally means to break your fast from the night before.
