What to do when we are invited. Allow me to discuss the options that you will have and which ones to accept and which ones to avoid or just make an appearance. We will also cover appropriate behavior and even what to bring.
We will cover how to accept your invitation, what to wear and what to take with you. Let's start with what types of invitations you may receive. There are family gatherings, friends' parties, parties where you are dragged to, and then the company parties or business associates' parties. Let's start with your company party. Where is the venue and what day of the week is it on? If it's during the week, are you expected to go to work the next day? Who will be there? What is the expected attire? What happens if you don't go, are there repercussions? What should you bring or do you even bring anything since you may just work for the company?
