1. The genealogy in Matthew was meant to be a trumpet call or a resumé. What is the point of a resumé? If you had to make a resumé for Jesus what would be on it?
2. Name a time when you were in a church that felt like it was thriving? What do you think made that church so successful?
3. Jesus is the centre of our faith and life but it can be so easy to put Jesus on the sidelines. What prevents you from making Jesus the focus?
4. With our sermon series on David ending what ideas, practices, and/or action points did you incorporate into your life? If none why not? What gets in the way of living out what we learn on Sunday?
