After last weeks idea of comparing braid versus mono, we decided to do one on spinning aka open face, versus baitcast. We discuss the advantages and disadvantages of baitcast and spinning reels. We discuss when and why we use each one because they are both necessary. In the news this week we have an article explaining how long does it take for water to leave the great lakes, 30 asian carp caught in the Mississippi, and a company trying to build an underwater oil line through the great lakes.
