Welcome to another Mindful Moments on a Metafizzical Life. I had the pleasure of interviewing Coach Amy and learning her story. Coach Amy is a Canadian born pro female fighter who has been living overseas for 16 years. She is the owner and head coach at Empowered Clubhouse, Philippines' first and only and women's only boxing clubhouse. Amy not only empowers women but Lil' Sistas - a group of unprivileged girls, many of which are human trafficking victims. Amy created the Lil' Sistas Project, an outreach program in support of the Lil' Sistas. I sat down with Amy and talked about boxing and all things that inspire her, or made her who she is today.
