Climate Activism has many faces, and this episode´s guest knows (almost) all of them. Berfin Marx is a political scientist, journalist and social media activist fighting for intersectional environmentalism, feminism and anti-racism. Since the pandemic radically affected the way movements had to organize themselves, we are discussing the role of social media to fight for a more just and sustainable society. We then explore how climate change is a symptom of a larger systemic crisis of class struggles, racism and inequality. Berfin uses the tool of intersectionality to explain how the ecological and social crises are fundamentally linked to each other.
