Summary:"The Invictus Boston Invitational is in its 5th season of competition. The Invitational is a competition hosted by Bern K. Prince of Invictus Boston. The concept of the Invitational is to display how fitness can create a community of individuals that all cultures, backgrounds, and ages can gather and celebrate the sport of Crossfit. This year the Invitational has created a book club.
The theme “Book Club'' is intended to allow every competitor to write their own story. Playing off of some classic novels, such as To Kill a Mockingbird and The Shining, inspired names for the qualifier workouts, which are as impactful to the mind and body as the novels are. Every competitor's journey brings along a story as to what brought them to the Invitational. While testing who the fittest on the floor is, the intention is that these competitors can read their story to the community.
Crossfit has saved many lives. It has created relationships, friendships, and athletes of a unique caliber. While at the Invitational, walk in with the mindset that every athlete, spectator, photographer all all gathered together to celebrate the same passion for the sport of Crossfit. Write your own story, while uplifting others to write theirs.
