Limitless Family, it is Monday. Are you ready to take the week on?

Do you have your days planned out? Do you know exactly what you’re going to do? Your workouts, your nutrition, your family time, your relationships, your date nights, your time-blocking, the planning that needs to be done for your success to be seen.

You see, I went out with some friends this weekend for some birthday parties. I had a great time, was home by 11 PM, and I told them. I said, “Guys, I haven’t drank in 10 months. I think I’m going to take a shot and celebrate,” and they said, “No, no, no, no. You can’t do that. We will not be those people that put you back to where you were.”

It was crazy to me how you make changes in your life and your friends recognize it and they support you in what you want to do. You see, they know my past. They understand what drinking did to me. And what a lot of you guys don’t know, is my dad was a drug and alcohol counselor for 24 years, but he was also an alcoholic for 20. He told me that I had a genetic disposition for having addiction to anything, whether that be drugs, alcohol, and he was right.

He told me this when I was 14 years old. I was a kid. I just pushed it off to the side like it was no big deal. But you see, I learned from what I went through in life, and I understand that if I bring that back I remember what it was like to have $6 to my name. I remember what it was like to sleep on a couch. I remember what it was like to have that instant gratification to please everyone around you, but really deep down inside, you’re not happy with yourself. And it’s crazy to think, moving forward in life, what can happen, when you take those triggers away. So, if you get anything from this podcast this morning, I want you to always remember, the things that happen in life are for you and they’re meant to happen. They’re meant to teach you lessons. They’re meant to motivate you and uplift you and push you forward into a better version of yourself.

So go through this week with a plan. Execute and make shit happen.
