In conclusion, apostle Paul concludes by stating his true strength comes from glorying in and being able to trust God in his weaknesses. Those criticising him felt his weaknesses and trials disqualified him as an apostle, Paul disagrees;
Three different times I begged the Lord to take it away. Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me. That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
2 Corinthians 12:8-10 NLT.
Someone else would have been ashamed, Paul says he takes pleasure in his weaknesses. He learned to turn weakness to strength by handing them over to God and trusting the grace of God would pull him through.
This is a huge lesson, your weaknesses; failures, disappointments, disadvantages, physical limitations, etc, are not enough to stop you if you would hold on to God.
