The New testament is amazing, it tells us that we now belong to Christ, this is what guarantees our righteousness and right standing with God. When you truly understand this, you will realise the futility at wanting to live and be justified by the old covenant. Paul tells us; "This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun. And all of this is a gift from God." 2Cor 5:17-18a. The New covenant makes us new persons. Our old life is gone, it is buried in Christ. Secondly, we now belong to Jesus. You want to touch me, satan? Talk to Jesus because I belong to him. Next, a new life has begun. Yes, it has begun and we are being transformed to become like Jesus. The life of grace has begun, Halleluyah! And then, all of it is a gift for God, wow! It can't be worked or strived for, doing the law can never give you this, no. It is a free gift. It is a free gift that Jesus Christ obtained for us by his blood, Halleluyah!
