More than ever, we need to be on guard so that we are not carried away by the errors going around right now. We are in the endtime and the apostle Peter, just like our saviour Jesus Christ, warned us that false teachers will be here; "But there were also false prophets in Israel, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will cleverly teach destructive heresies and even deny the Master who bought them. In this way, they will bring sudden destruction on themselves." 2Pet 2:1 NLT. "There will be" means it's a guarantee and I can confirm they are here. They teach and colour the lie to look like the truth. They are wolves in sheep clothing so that if you are not very observant, you might mistake them for servants of righteousness. Our response is simple; be on guard and grow in grace and wisdom while you are at it. "You already know these things, dear friends. So be on guard; then you will not be carried away by the errors of these wicked people and lose your own secure footing. Rather, you must grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. All glory to him, both now and forever! Amen.
