The Book of Daniel is my favourite book in the Old Testament. The book has just 12 loaded chapters and is broadly broken in two parts; chapters one to six contain six amazing, action packed events that will fill your heart with learning and wisdom; Daniel and his three friends; Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah refused to defile themselves with the kings delicacies. Second was about Nebuchadnezzar dream and his demand that only by telling him what he dreamt, would he be willing to accept an interpretation as true. Next, Nebuchadnezzar builds a golden statue and ask everyone to bow down to it, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah will refuse. Next is his dream of a tree and the prophesy that he will turn into a wild animal. Next chapter is about the handwriting on the wall. And lastly, Daniel's trip to the lion's den. Six amazing events we will draw so much lessons out of. In the last 6 chapters of Daniel, he has these series of vision that is not only apocalyptic in nature but they reveal so much about the different empires that will rule the world, the rapture, the second coming of Jesus, etc. Daniel is going to be a blast, please come along.
