As we conclude the book of Daniel, our charge cannot be clearer; we can't stand aloof or undecided in the middle, we will have to choose between; "those who are wise will shine as bright as the sky, and those who lead many to righteousness will shine like the stars forever." Will it be that, or this? "Many of those whose bodies lie dead and buried will rise up, some to everlasting life and some to shame and everlasting disgrace." I know the one I will choose, do you? The book of Daniel is a call to become wise, to live deliberately for God, to be the salt and light of our world, the choice is in your hands. My prayer for you is that on that resurrection morning, you will not rise up to everlasting disgrace in Jesus' name, your reward will be; well done, faithful and wise servant, in Jesus' name. Amen.
