Daniel chapter 8 gives us a clear description and understanding of who and what the second and third beast empires are; what they will do and some of the events that happen around that time. We pay attention to these things because the events of beast one, two, three and some part of four corresponding with the head made of gold, chest and arms of silver, belly and thighs of bronze, and legs made of iron part of statue that Nebuchadnezzer saw which corresponds with the four beasts of Daniel's vision in chapter 7, are a matter of history that can be easily verified, if they were true and they happened just as he saw, it follows that the feet part of the statue which also lines up with some part of the 4th beast are still in the future and will soon come to pass. Actually, we are likely living through and in that time.
