The wisdom for living can be thought provoking..."A good reputation is more valuable than costly perfume. And the day you die is better than the day you are born." Another version says outrightly that the day of death is better than the day of birth. How can that be? How can the day associated with crying be better than the one associated with rejoicing at the birth of a child? "Extortion turns wise people into fools, and bribes corrupt the heart." I have not met one people who takes bribes and does not upturn justice on its head. "Control your temper, for anger labels you a fool." If there was one scripture that helped me mastered my anger, it was this one. I am not a fool, are you?
