The book of Ezra concludes with the returning exiles confronting those who had inter-married from other nations. While a seemingly harmless mistake, the people remembered this was part of the sins God warned them would lead them away from him to worship other gods. For Christians today, while inter-marriage might sound uninteresting, see the implications of what it eventually leads to; a difference in value, vision and your goals in life. The New testament comes out to warn us plainly that, "evil communication corrupts good manners" 1Cor 15:33, also, "do not become equally yoked with unbelievers, what communion does light have with darkness, or the children of God with the sons of belial" 2Cor 6:14. Who you get married to, is one of the most important decision you will have make, ensure your decision, lines up with the word of God.
