"By faith these people overthrew kingdoms, ruled with justice, and received what God had promised them. They shut the mouths of lions, quenched the flames of fire, and escaped death by the edge of the sword. Their weakness was turned to strength. They became strong in battle and put whole armies to flight." Hebrews 11:33-34. The stories we read about these men and wome in the Bible all happened because they had faith in God, they knew what God said to them and that was sufficient. In Danie's case for example who shut the mouth of lions because was willing to stand for God. Outside, "God said", there is no faith. I challenge you this morning to run after God, know him better and better from today. Start with a prayer this morning; "Lord, I want to know. Take me deeper I'm my walk with you" Let this be the cry of your heart.
