Isaiah prophesies accurately about the coming judgement upon the kingdoms of Moab, Assyria and the Babylonians. In Babylon's case, he prophesies about the super power that was going to defeat them; Persia, and at the same time about the destruction of the system of Babylon at the second coming coming of Jesus in the book of Revelation, 18. Isaiah prophesied about the events that were going to follow before then with the blowing of the trumpets and the pouring out of bowls of judgement over and upon the earth at the second coming of Jesus; the Sun is darken, the stars will not give their light, etc, he calls it, "the day of the LORD". The book of Isaiah ought to be read with a open heart and cry for understanding.
