Isaiah's was a call to repentance for the entire nation with clear details of signs of the coming judgement. The people lived through all of it, saw it all happened and still rejected God until they were carried off into exile. I can't begin to tell you how much relevant his words are to us today. We are the generation literally living in and through the fulfillment of the prophesies of Jesus' second coming, and just as Israel rejected God's message then, we seem on track to do the same.
