Some of the things Isaiah saw and prophesied about were simply profound, to have seen that far ahead was just amazing. When he heard God ask, "Whom should I send as a messenger to this people? Who will go for us?" Even though Isaiah assumed God was asking him and that he was referring to the nation of Israel and Judah, we know that ultimately, Jesus Christ was the only one qualified to answer that call and that by "people", God was referring to the human race.
As you read you read the book of Isaiah, ask the Lord to open your eyes and heart to understand the meaning of some of the things he spoke about and their relevance to us today.
