Description

We learn a very vital lesson in today's reading, a lesson the children of Judah had to learn in a truly devastating way as they are carried off into exile; it was not enough that the temple of God was simply in Jerusalem or that the ark of God being there meant God's presence was there, no it was not. It was not enough that they claimed they had God's word without producing the fruit in their lives. The same applies to us today, it is not enough that we simply claim to be Christians or that we go to a particular Church, our lives should produce fruits that makes it evident whose we are. Our boast must not be in the number of Church buildings we have, whose prayer is more powerful or how big our Church buildings are, no, our boast should be that we truly know and understand the LORD is God. That we understand God's love, justice and righteousness.

My prayer for you today is that your walk with this God will not be superficial, no, it will be real. You will know the LORD for yourself. Not as the God my pastor preaches about, no, but as the God whose you are and whom you serve.
