How we can be certain we have eternal life, and the truth of who is in every believer will be the focus of my write up this morning. Jesus said; "And this is the way to have eternal life - to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one you sent to earth" John 17:3. I don't know if that needs any further explanation. Understand this morning, you can't have eternal life outside of Jesus Christ. Next, Jesus says; "I am in them and you are in me. May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love." John 17:23. I feel like reading that over and over again. The fact that Jesus is in us means the Father himself is in us because the Father is in Christ. And because we are the temples of the Holy Spirit, that means the Godhead; Father, Son and Holy Spirit is in us. When you understand this truth, you will understand why you can't be oppressed. A believer, as long as they have this understanding, can't be defeated. Whatever can overwhelm you cannot overwhelm you, the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit together. It is simply impossible. Now you understand why John goes on to say; "Greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world." My charge to my readers this morning, the Godhead lives inside you, carry yourself with the that understanding. Confront and face every obstacle with the understanding that nothing can overwhelm you, the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit together. Halleluyah!
