Hear the words of Jesus;
"In addition, the Father judges no one. Instead, he has given the Son absolute authority to judge, so that everyone will honor the Son, just as they honor the Father. Anyone who does not honor the Son is certainly not honoring the Father who sent him. “I tell you the truth, those who listen to my message and believe in God who sent me have eternal life. They will never be condemned for their sins, but they have already passed from death into life."
John 5:22-24 NLT.
The one who will judge the world is Christ, he has the absolute authority to do so. Why? Submitting to the Son and honouring the Son is equal to honouring the Father. You can't reject the Son and claim to accept or know the Father.
Lastly, those who believe in and receive the Son cannot be condemned for their sins because the Son has already been condemned on their behalf. We call this phenomenon in law; double jeopardy. Unless there was a mistrial, you can't trial and punish someone for the same offense twice. When Jesus hung on that cross, he did so for everyone who will choose him.
"But Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the law. When he was hung on the cross, he took upon himself the curse for our wrongdoing. For it is written in the Scriptures, “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.” Through Christ Jesus, God has blessed the Gentiles with the same blessing he promised to Abraham, so that we who are believers might receive the promised Holy Spirit through faith."
